JanaSena President Pawan Kalyan has urged his party activists to keep a watch on illicit sand mining in Andhra. The fight on sand Corruption has just started, said Kalyan.
JanaSena Party chief Pawan Kalyan on 18th November has requested all the Janasainiks to keep a watch on illicit sand mining in State of Andhra Pradesh.
Janasena president said in a statement, “I urge all Janasainiks to keep a watch on illicit sand mining as the fight on sand corruption has just started.”
“JSP (Janasena party) wholeheartedly thanks all the media ,Individuals and other Political stakeholders for making YCP leader ‘Sri Jagan Reddy’ to realise his deliberate mistakes in sand policy which killed 50 workers & making 35 lakh construction workers jobless,” Pawan Kalyan wrote his Twitter page.
Mr. Kalyan also met with the Andhra Pradesh Governor on 12th of November and requested him to intervene and direct the State Government on construction labour issues.
In a letter submitted to the governor, Mr. Kalyan stated, “We bring to your kind notice, the sad plight and innumerable hardships being faced by more than 35 lakh workers who are involved in construction activities in the State of Andhra Pradesh.”
Janasena party has been receiving several representations in this matter we have raised this issue on several fora, unfortunately there has been no response from the state government to safeguard the welfare of construction workers, JanaSena Chief said.
Janasena organized a huge “long march” protest rally in support of construction workers urging the state government to correct the discrepancies of their new sand policy, said Kalyan.
Kindly intervene and direct the state government to immediately respond on this issue, he added.
He further said, “we have also prepared a note on sand mining policy which we request you to kindly peruse.”
