Despite strict police vigilance at the Telangana Secretariat, much to the shock of many, a generator battery at D Block in the Secretariat premises, has been stolen.
The section officer of the concerned department has identified the theft and informed to the police. After booked a formal case on Monday, 19th Oct, Saifabad police have started investigating.
Police suspect that someone from inside the premises must have committed the crime as there is no way that an outsider can enter the premises amidst such high level round the clock security deployed at the Secretariat.
Whoever the thief might be, this theft has exposed the loopholes in the security at the Telangana Secretariat, which has been taken very seriously by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao and he instructed for the culprits to be caught at the earliest.
