The prestigious Padma Awards for year 2016 were announced yesterday but the name of Power Star Pawan Kalyan was missing from recipients.
Pawan Kalyan ’s support to the BJP and the TDP alliance during 2014 General Elections cannot be forgotten. Had he extended his support to any other party or at least kept mum, TDP wouldn’t have come to the power in AP.
What has Pawan Kalyan achieved in return?
Pawan Kalyan did not want any Minister post and the selfless leader seems to have been deserted by the BJP now. Although AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu maintains healthy rapport with Pawan, still there are many group and caste based speculations behind them.
Speculations were rife that Pawan would be honored with Padma award by the Government of India as a token of gratitude but nothing of that sort happened.
