Donald Trump proudly claimed that the support for his Presidential campaign would not decline at all even if he shot someone in the middle of a crowded street.
The frontrunner to be named the Republican candidate, Trump made these interesting comments at a campaign rally in Iowa. Although he faced an immediate backlash for his insensitive comments and was asked to clarify his comments, he refused to comment.
“I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters,” Trump said.
He pointed directly at the camera during his speech and imitated pulling a trigger. As expected, social media went berserk after this fresh controversy, for which Trump has become famous for these days.
Trump’s comments came in the wake of debate about gun violence in America is being the hot topic for political discussions. Trump slammed President Barack Obama’s use of executive orders to expand the reach of background check needed to purchase guns in the US.
