Two petitions filed against Udta Punjab Film which was caught in censorship row were dismissed by Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The high court has taken a decision that the film will be released on 17th of June.
On June 13th, a petitioner had submitted that the film has portrayed Punjab in bad light.
The Supreme Court had declined the plea filed by an NGO to stay the release of the Movie.
The Apex Court had asked the petitioner to approach Punjab & Haryana High Court.
The NGO had moved the Apex Court challenging the Bombay High Court order on the film. The Bombay High Court had cleared the release of the movie.
