TDP leader and Union Minister Sujana Chowdary is served legal notices by the High Court for Contempt of Court over payment of Maritius Commercial Bank Ltd dues.
As per report, few months back, Mauritius Commercial Bank approached the Hyderabad High Court and alleged that one of Sujana Chowdary’s companies defaulted on the Rs 92 Crore loan taken through its subsidiary, Mauritius-based Hestia Holdings Ltd.
The bank alleged in its petition that the outstanding payment due from the minister’s company, including interest and other charges, has shot up to Rs 106 Crore. Sujana’s company had stood as guarantor for its subsidiary when the loan was availed.
Now, the notices were served by the high Court for not following the instructions of the court given in the past regarding payment of loan.
