While addressing officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence(DRI) and other Customs officers, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley
asked the Customs authorities to utilize most recent Technology to assemble and analyze intelligence data relating to any illicit transaction across the border.
He focused on the requirement for Exchange of Information by the officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) with other knowledge orgs and improvement of their capability to examine it critically and minutely before hitting the final target.
He also said that officers need to be trained with a specific end goal to find some hidden meaning and be completely prepared to handle the most recent technology devices effectively and viably so as to keep pace with the technologies utilized by the duty evaders who always attempt to exploit the loopholes in the law.
