PM Narendra Modi will flag off India’s first engineless train Vande Bharat Express on February 15. According to a senior official, the train will run from the New Delhi Railway station. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal recently changed the name of the train by Train 18 to Vande Bharat Express. The Integral Coach Factory in Chennai has manufactured the train.

Vande Bharat Express is likely to become India’s fastest train by hitting speeds of over 180 km during a trial run that took place between the Delhi-Mumbai route. According to the official’s statement, PM Modi will flag off the train at 10 am on February 15. There will be a function in which he will give a speech as well.

The train will run between Delhi and Varanasi and eventually replace the 30-year-old Shatabdi Express. This train will run between Delhi and Varanasi.
