Tamil star hero Vijay had committed a grave mistake during the recently held audio launch of his forthcoming Film Theri.
Vijay’s referral to Chinese great Communist revolutionary leader Mao Zedong as former Russian President didn’t go well with the Audiences who could only look with blank faces from their seats in discomfort. Vijay could have averted the mistake if he was knowledgeable enough.
Vijay’s referral to Mao came while he was narrating a story by which he wanted to give a sensible message to his fans to remain calm and composed to achieve goals. Though the story had a valid point and Vijay’s intention was good, his blunder of referring to China’s great Communist leader as former Russian president became the highlight.
Even though Vijay has later issued a public apology for his mistake, netizens on social media are trolling him by calling him the ‘Rahul Gandhi of Tamil Cinema’. Many are advising him to be knowledgeable as he is role model for many youths.
