As per latest buzz in Kollywood, Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 60th Movie will be the remake of legend MGR’s 1965 Film ‘Enga Veettu Pillai’, in which he had essayed dual role.
It is already official that Vijay would team up with director Bharathan for his 60th flick. Keerthy Suresh will be playing the female lead. As per reports, the film is likely to have another actress as Vijay will be playing dual role in the film.
This untitled film is said to be on the lines of MGR’s ‘Enga Veettu Pillai’ and the script has been modified a little to suit the current generation Audiences. However, when asked sources close to the film unit, they have denied the news and called the film an original one.
It is also known that Vijay’s 60th film will be produced by Vijaya Productions, the same banner that produced Enga Veettu Pillai in 1965.
Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer of this film. The regular shooting of the film will commence in April.
