Weirdest: Case against Lord Rama for banishing Sita

A local court in Bihar has today quashed a complaint filed by a lawyer against Lord Rama for sending goddess Sita out of home. The court ruled that the petition was illogical.

Complainant Thakur Chandan Kumar Singh sought justice for Sita by lodging a case against Lord Rama and his younger brother Laxmana. He alleged that the duo had banished goddess Sita to a life in exile in a forest without any justification after listening to accusations.

He has alleged that Rama did not think once about how a woman could live alone in forest. He added that his intention was not to hurt the religious sentiments but to get justice for Sita.

In response, the court declared that the matter was illogic enough to initiate a case.

Meanwhile, three separate complaints were registered in the court against complainant Singh for tryng to defame Lord Rama. He tried to hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus, alleged the three complainants in their application submitted to the court. Cases were filed against Singh under various sections of the IPC.

Bizarre cases in the country are aplenty but this one is probably the weirdest.
