Universal hero Kamal Haasan has yesterday, on 12th November, met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office in Vijayawada and sought his permission to organize the special premiere of his forthcoming Telugu Film “Cheekati Rajyam”, in Vijayawada.
Kamal confirmed that he also invited AP CM to watch his film along with the Audiences and the CM nodded positively.
He also revealed that he has planned to have two premieres on the same day, one each in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The show timings will have six-hour gap so that the actor and crew of the film could Travel from one location to other.
The film, which was directed by Kamal Haasan’s assistant Rajesh, is the remake of French thriller “Sleepless Night” that takes place in a single night.
The Tamil version ‘Thoongavanam’ was released on 10th November and has been received well. Also starring Prakash Raj, Trisha Krishnan and Sampath Raj in key roles, “Cheekati Rajyam” will release Worldwide on 20th November.
