Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a lot for the country, Sunny Deol said.
Mr. Deol also said, India needs Narendra Modi for the next five years.
Bollywood actor Sunny Deol on Tuesday (23rd of April) joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Mr. Deol was welcomed in the party in the presence of Railways and Coal Minister Piyush Goyal and defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at BJP headquarters in New Delhi.
What Made Sunny Deol join BJP?
Speaking on joining, Mr. Deol said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a lot for the country.
Mr. Deol also said, India needs Narendra Modi for the next five years.
He further on his Twitter page thanked BJP Leadership for welcoming him into tha pary.
“thanks a lot BJP, Narendra Modi ji, Amit Shah ji, Ramlal ji, Piyush Goyal ji, N Sitharaman ji, CaptAbhimanyu ji , Amitmalviya ji for this warm welcome,” he wrote.
According to reports, Mr. Deol is likely to contest from Punjab in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Apart from National Film Awards, Filmfare Awards and other competitive awards which Deol won for his performances throughout the years, he has also been awarded several honours for his achievements in the Indian film Industry.
