Why Kamal Haasan met Raj Thackery??

Yesterday, on 30^th October, Universal hero Kamal Haasan has surprised everyone by going all the way to meet Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, at his residence.

Raj Thackeray, his wife Sharmila and daughter Urvashi have warmly received Kamal Haasan in traditional Maharashtrian style by offering shawl and bouquet of flowers. Thackeray draped the golden shawl around Kamal’s shoulders.

They spoke cozily for few hours before Kamal returned to Chennai. The reason behind this sudden meeting is not known although MNS officials and Kamal Haasan described it as just a courtesy call.

Kamal’s meeting with the aggressive politician ahead of the release of his Film ‘Thoongavanam’ has become the talk of the town in Kollywood, Bollywood and political circles of Maharashtra.
