North Korea on Saturday (4th of May) has fired several short-range projectiles into the Sea of Japan.

According to North Korean State media, Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader has supervised the drill.  

What was the purpose?

According to media reports, North Korean leader gave the order to increase the combat ability of the nation.

Reports also said, the purpose of the drill was to test the operating ability and accuracy of multiple rocket launchers and tactical guided weapons by the defence units.

Reacting to the actions of North Korea, the United States President Donald J. Trump wrote on his Twitter page, “anything in this very interesting world is possible, but I believe that Kim Jong Un fully realizes the great economic potential of North Korea, & will do nothing to interfere or end it.”

Mr. Trump also wrote, “He (Kim Jong Un) also knows that I am with him & does not want to break his promise to me. Deal will happen!.”
