Investors from overseas pumped over Rs 9,000 crore into Indian capital markets in May 2019.

As per depositories data , Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) infused approximately Rs 7,920 crore into Equities market and Rs 1,111 crore in the debt market during 2-31 of May, 2019.

In April, March and February 2019, FPIs had invested a net Rs 16,093 crore, Rs 45,981 crore and Rs 11,182 crore in the capital markets respectively.
