The United States police have recently reopened a sexual assault case against Portuguese professional Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, which was originally reported in year 2009.

According to Associate Press, the woman in her complaint requested the Las Vegas police to reopen the sexual assault case.
She claimed that she was raped by the footballer in Las Vegas. The Women further alleged that Ronaldo used a team of “fixers” to block criminal investigation and misled her into keeping silent for $375,000.
In response to the case, Ronaldo tweeted, “I firmly deny the accusations being issued against me. Rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in.
