Former Indian international Cricketer and a former captain of the Indian national team Sachin Tendulkar has reportedly refused to agree to accept an honorary Doctorate of Literature from the Jadavpur University mentioning ‘ethical reasons’ behind his refusal.
In response to this particular gossip, Tendulkar reportedly said that he doesn’t accept an honour of this stature from any university.
He had previously refused an honorary Doctorate from the Oxford University as well.
