Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s recently released and highly anticipated action entertainer Sardaar Gabbar Singh had an earth shattering opening day.
Although Sardaar storm had swept away several records set by epic Baahubali on day 1, the Film’s collections saw a huge dip right from day 2, owing to negative talk.
Distributors from all the regions had bought the theatrical rights for astronomical prices and the film’s pre-release business was the second highest after Baahubali, nearly Rs 80 crore. The distributors are now staring at around 40% losses in almost all areas.
As per the latest reports in media, the distributors are now planning to meet producer Sharrat Marar and Pawan Kalyan to demand compensation for their hefty losses.
In the recent times, we have witnessed distributors fighting for compensations for Rajinikanth’s Lingaa. In that case, all the distributors met Rajinikanth and the film’s producer and demanded compensation. They even staged severe protests for few months to get the desired compensation.
We hope that Sardaar makers find an amicable solution to make distributors safe.
