Actress Saiyami Kher, who was last seen in YVS Chowdary directed Telugu Film “Rey”, has reportedly been roped in by ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam for his next untitled Tamil Telugu bilingual film.
Featuring Karthi and Nani in lead roles, the film will have Saiyami in a brief role. This Mani Ratnam’s project, which Features Nithya Menon as the lead actress, has gone through lot of changes in the past couple of months.
Initially planned as a Tamil revenge drama, the film was slated to go on floors this December this year but Mani Ratnam decided to make it as bilingual and pushed the shooting to next year
With this, actor Dulquer Salmaan, who was earlier roped in to play a lead role, walked out of the project Nani replaced him. Second lead actress is yet to be roped in as Keerthi Suresh too left the project.
The film will have music by AR Rahman.
